When new images are added to the gallery or fleet list sections, they also spend some time here to give them a higher profile for a while.

John Power has posted the following notice to the mailing list and was hoping that I might make a few photographs available to go with it. I'm happy to oblige. Here is the original notice for posterity:
24' Bluenose sloop (1973). With a large cockpit, fixed keel and a well-balanced sail plan she is right at home daysailing coastal waters. For those who want to extend that sail overnight a small cabin will accommodate two people. Equipment includes 3 sails (1 new main, 1 new jib and 1 older jib) and sailcover, a 4-hp Mariner outboard (low hours), compass (new in 2000), port-a-potty (never used), battery (new in 2000), various safety equipment, fenders and a tandem trailer. Asking $4,900. Call 742-3190 after 7pm or 565-5688 during the day (Coventry, CT).
Scott Wallace recently sent these photos of Hell Diver.
Robert sent me three new photos of Blue Heat. The first two photos below were from the original set and the next three are the new ones. This is turning into a fairly nice portfolio.
Some recent photos of Bluenose 248, Nimble, sailing in Newport, RI (courtesy of her current owner David Kane.) I see now why she has been chosen for various magazines and catalogs.
B67 Storm has been owned and sailed for many years by Bob Lee in Halifax. He has kept Storm in terrific shape, and has introduced many people to the joys of Bluenose sailing. I don't have a picture of her fully rigged, but here she is being readied for the 2001 season.
My brother recently sent me this one from the 1984 Championships. I don't think they are actually racing, but rather repositioning during races. But it's always nice to see lots of Bluenoses in close quarters.
I recently posted a message to the mailing list regarding weather helm, and referred to a figure from a book. I wasn't able to attach the figure to the mail, so here it is for posterity.
